Essex Dog Services Cancellation Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your dog walking appointments. To ensure fairness and transparency for both our clients and our dog walkers, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation Notice:
- We kindly request that you provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice for all appointment cancellations. This allows us to adjust our schedules and offer availability to other clients.
Same-Day Cancellations:
- In the event of a same-day cancellation, a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost will be charged.
No-Show Policy:
- If you fail to notify us of a cancellation and do not show up for the scheduled appointment (a "no-show"), you will be charged the full service fee.
Rescheduling:
- We understand that sometimes circumstances change. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. We will make every effort to accommodate your new preferred time, based on our availability.
Inclement Weather:
- In cases of severe weather conditions, we may need to cancel or reschedule appointments for the safety of your pet and our dog walkers. We will make every effort to communicate these changes as soon as possible and work with you to find a suitable alternative.
Emergency Situations:
- In the case of genuine emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to make appropriate accommodations.
Multiple Cancellations or No-Shows:
- Consistent multiple cancellations or no-shows may result in limited future scheduling availability or prepayment requirements.
Communication:
- To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible.
